Seattle Area Chapter Meeting Information

Membership

You are welcome to attend chapter meetings before joining. The guest fee is $25 for each meeting. Membership in the National Association of Professional Organizers (www.napo.net) is required before membership on the chapter level can be processed.

When

First Tuesday of each month
6:30pm - 8:30pm (Unless otherwise noted)

Meeting format

Chapter meetings are conducted by the President or designated board member. Meetings are primarily for education, information and networking. Chapter business will be discussed at the beginning of each meeting. A guest speaker will speak during the second half of the meeting.

Introduction

Members and guests are invited to introduce themselves. Announcements may be brought to the meeting upon approval of the President.

Guest Speakers

At the majority of chapter meetings, a guest speaker will present business and/or organizing information relevant to both new and veteran organizers. Should you have a topic idea, contact the Professional Development Director.

Conduct

We pride ourselves on being a cohesive, positive, enthusiastic group. We are colleagues and should treat ourselves as such. Brainstorming and idea sharing are encouraged. Negative comments are not appreciated.

Attire

It is important to represent NAPO and the organizing industry in a professional manner. This would include wearing appropriate attire to chapter meetings and conferences.

Punctuality

All meetings will begin on time with the intention of ending on time. Please make every effort to arrive at the meeting on time.

How can I become a member of the Seattle Area NAPO chapter?
